Inside My Home

Come on in my friends and make yourself at home! It seems our journey has brought us to sunny Georgia and we are so super blessed to be first time homeowners! We are settling in so perfectly here, it's hard to believe we're sneaking up on 8 months already.  I figured I'd post some photos of what's been going on and some fun updates since things are always changing here.  We're starting to grow into our big home, it's slow, but that's because I'm a firm believer in only putting things you absolutely love into your home! But what we have done, we've done with great love, knowing we want this home to reflect us as a couple and as individuals. My amazing husband has hung so many curtains for me, installed fixtures, put shelving units in the garage, and even built me some furniture like a huge Farmhouse Table... he's incredible and it's so much fun to watch him put work into his own place for a change!  While extremely tiring but super fun, we've been nonstop since we got here.  So here's a peek at our place, hope you enjoy as much as we have!

The Great Room
{An extension of the kitchen, an open floor plan that we fell in love with. It has so many windows and great light. We decided to go with the Walnut floors since we thought it would be a nice contrast to the bright walls and furniture and anchor the tall ceilings. And there's just something so Farmhouse about wood + whites!}

In the morning light
{I absolutely love the silver accents, the light
 plays so pretty on them in this room.}

~The Eatery~
{I thought I'd go with the flow of the Kitchen and stick with an Olde World feel bringing in creamy white chairs with brass nail head trim and a rubbed bronze faucet to match the pendant lights and cabinet pulls.}

{Found a vintage embroidery runner that I used in the kitchen as a window treatment, adds such a relaxed feel to the whole space.}

~Dine With Me~
My amazingly talented husband built me a Farmhouse table, something I've always wanted! We built it just perfectly for this room, plenty of seating for up to eight, walking room so it's not too cramped, and we are slowly adding love to it with pieces we cant live without.

{DIY Autumn Pumpkin Centerpiece}

~Front Entry + Foyer~
{Your front door is the first thing people are greeted with, so I wanted something super happy and natural... because what's not to like about that?! "There lies awesomeness behind this door!" }

{The warm glow that comes off those bricks at sunset is to die for.
It's like the house is smiling back at the sky.}

Master Bedroom + Bath
{Ok, I seriously never want to get out of bed... ever.  I am such a sucker for dreamy layers of white and crisp linens...}

Soaking Tub Love
{with a view}

His & Hers vanity and a humongous walk-in closet for all my thrift store finds!

Guest Suite
{Fully equipped with it's own en suite bathroom}

My Sweet Laundry Room
{Hello! I sooo can't wait to transform this fun space!}

A Cool Little Feature
{I didn't appreciate this right away but now I don't
know how to live without it, hahaha!  So convenient when you are
using recipes on your iPad for cooking + built in child safety on every outlet... and sometimes for adults, too!}

Hope you all enjoyed a little tour!  This place has been so good to us and we can't wait for more!
