Wanderlust

noun
noun: wanderlust
 A strong desire to travel.

We absolutely love adventure, whether it be local or abroad, and seek it out at every opportunity.  We've had the privilege of traveling to Ireland, Scotland and England in the past few years.  The experiences we took from it are beyond words.  To touch and see ruins older than the pyramids, to see a different culture, to taste new foods and explore strange places... that is what we love so much about traveling.  To go outside your own world, to experience new things and truly explore and wander a different part of the world.  Here's a few of my favorite adventures from abroad, the experiences that have forever touched my heart and opened my eyes.

Skellig Michael, Ireland
{6th-8th century Monastic ruins located 7 miles off the coast of Ireland}

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
{County Kerry, Ireland}

Melrose Abbey, Scotland
{founded in 1136 by Cistercian monks}

Port of Larne, Scotland

Carrickfergus, Ireland

Lough Crew Passage Tomb, Co. Meath, Ireland
{3300 BC}

Wicklow Mountains, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

Loch Lomond, Scotland

Co Carlow, Ireland

Mini Adventures!

"Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountains and sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books."
~John Lubbock~

Both of us absolutely adore nature and love submersing ourselves in it and drowning out the noise of the world.  There's something so refreshing and beneficial about spending time with the Earth, it releases tension and clears the mind.  These are some of our mini day adventures.
